Counts

Ticking and ordering are yours — neither changes anybody else's board. Removing one takes it off everybody's.

    Ranks it fills with by default

    None ticked means any rank. Anyone else holding the specialty can still be added when needed — they just are not who Fill from shift puts in. Somebody acting at a ticked rank is included; somebody merely approved to act is not.

    Available list

    Paste the Telestaff Overtime Availability list. Names are matched to the roster, so typing a name into a slot suggests from it. Anything unreadable is shown rather than dropped.

    People with an account

    Who can sign in to Float Aide. This is not the member roster — it is the short list of staffing and command people with an account. Adding somebody emails them; there is no password to set.

    The people list

    — people on the roster. It's what Fill from shift draws on, and where each person's station, shift and qualifications come from.

    Noticed a change? Somebody transferred, promoted, joined or left — export a fresh people list and drop it in. You'll see exactly what would change before anything is saved.

    Check the people the app is holding

    Every active member, row by row, with what the app made of their rank, shift, station and codes — and anything it could not account for. This needs no file: it is a check on what is stored, which is the question the upload preview cannot answer, because that one reports only what would change.

    A, B, C or day work

    Where each member sits. Day work wins over the shift — somebody in a bureau isn't riding whatever platoon the export still has them on. Anyone unclassified has no shift and no bureau code, so they appear nowhere until they're placed.

    What people have told us

    Bugs, suggestions and roster errors raised by whoever was working the sheet. Each one is emailed to every admin as it arrives — this is the record, not the alert.

    Time on a transport unit

    Straight time only. Overtime and trades are not counted — they are not the department putting you on a unit. Percentages are of the straight time recorded on these sheets, so they mean more the longer the app has been worked.

    Paste the text of the directive, or upload it as a .txt. It is split by the document's own margin numbers, which is what makes a line number here mean the same thing as a line number in the paper copy. Nothing is saved until you confirm the figures.
